 Why did we call this mixed media jewelry?

In each of the works, it is jewelry, sculpture,

and a wearable art.

Each is a separate media,

 but our jewelry uniquely combines

all these media together in each piece.

Traditional jewelry in jewelry stores is most often just bezel and

stone, or just facet and stone that is either

on the hand or hung on a chain. 

But in our jewelry, each piece

is not just the hung or worn set stone

but it is a precious or semi precious metal

 miniature sculpture artwork,

each one of a kind and different than the other.

Because all this is more than one medium, we called it

multi media or mixed media jewelry.
